We construct gates with careful manufacture and quality materials. All of our hardwood garden gates are made from Iroko hardwood.
Iroko is a beautiful and highly durable African hardwood, sometimes known at ‘African Teak’ because of its similar grain structure and colouring to teak. It’s also a remarkably hardwearing wood when placed outside, with minimal colour loss or wear and tear from weather - perfect for British gardens.

Our Delivery Process
Once you purchase your wooden garden gates, we keep you updated every step of the way until they reach you.
Here’s the exact process we follow:
- Construction - As soon as you purchase your gate, we either source it from existing stock or make it bespoke. As so many of our gates are made to bespoke sizes that fit your home perfectly, we ask that you check our current lead times from order to dispatch.
- Quality Inspection - When construction is complete, each item we make gets a thorough quality control inspection to ensure that it’s up to our high standards.
- Packaging - Once it passes quality control, we package the gate up for delivery. This involves securing the outer frame and corners with recyclable foam edges to protect the vulnerable points from impact. After this, the entire gate is wrapped using a mixture of bubble wrap, cardboard and shrink wrap.
- Shipping - We then arrange collection using a trusted delivery partner who will give you updates on delivery progress and when you can expect to receive your new gate.
